lyrics
Behold, this is the Lamb of God,
who takes away
the sin of the world;
who comes from above
is above all.
Amen, amen, I say to you,
unless a man be born from above,
he cannot behold
the Kingdom of God.
For this cause we also, since the day
we heard it, do not cease to pray
for you, that ye might walk
worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing,
strengthened with all might,
according to his glorious power, unto all patience
and longsuffering with joyfulness,
giving thanks unto the Father, in whom we have
redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins,
who is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn
of every creature.
And he is the head of the body,
who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead;
that in all things he might have preeminence.
Let no man therefore judge you in meat,
or in drink, or in respect of a Holy day,
or of the new moon,
or of the sabbath days, which are a shadow
of things to come.
Let no man deceive you with vain words,
for ye were sometimes darkness, but now ye are light
of the Lord: walk as children of light.
Walk as children of light, speaking
to yourselves in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing and making melody
in your heart to the Lord.
Finally, my brethren,
put on the whole armour of God,
for we wrestle not against
flesh and blood,
but against principalities,
against powers, against rulers of the darkness
of this world,
against spiritual wickedness
in high places.
Put on the whole armour,
walk as children of light.
